Warehouse Maintenance worker- House keeper – Permanent
Our Ipswich based client is looking for an experienced warehouse maintenance worker/housekeeper to work in a 140,000sqft warehouse. This is a very exciting opportunity to get to work in a “state of the art” warehouse with the most up to date technology and machinery. The the successful applicant must have experience in working in a warehouse and also be an excellent team player.
You will have the ability to grow with the business to secure a career with this company. They want an elite team help the business grow and hit the ground running as it will be a big busy warehouse with a fast paced environment.
Applicants need to be physically fit and very hard working and reliable, you must be able to work quickly as part of a team. You need to work efficiently and safely. Job role can change daily from making sure health and saftey protocols are being followed to any maintence that is required on site in this busy, big warehouse, you need to be prepared to do different roles in the warehouse.
You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Role Profile:-
– Completing routine inspections of premises and equipment and following warehouse protocols.
– Proven maintenance experience.
– Related degree from a technical college.
– Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
– Experience performing routine maintenance.
– Strong organizational and follow up skills.
– Eye for detail.
– Performing preventative maintenance.
– Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
– Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
– Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
– Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
– Maintenance Worker Requirements
– Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
– Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
– Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
– Professional presentation and attitude.
– Ability to be able to work on your own and as part of a team
– Strong time management skills.

Hours will be Mon to Friday with the possiblility of some weekend work
Salary according to experience.
