Billings & Costings Administrator
Job Description
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for timely and accurate raising of invoices for key customer shipments. Also to perform detailed checks on completed files to ensure correct P+L is achieved.
Duties
Invoicing out of charges to customers
Inputting of supplier costs to files
Check files and systems to find relevant jobs for billing and costing
Ensure all shipments are billed and costed within required timelines
Ensure customer data, financial info and tracking requirements are supported
Interrogate and administer customer and supplier tariffs
Provide bulk invoice data
Check shipment files to ensure correct profitability is achieved.
Completion of customer KPI’s
Skills / Experience required
Strong MS Office skills – particularly in Excel skills
Good awareness of Freight Forwarding / Shipping operational and financial terminology
Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise workload
Must be able to use own initiative
Background in Freight Forwarding / Shipping
Ability to work under pressure and a ‘get the job done’ attitude
Must be prepared to work the hours required to complete a task if necessary
Salary up to £25,000
